Engine valves

Valves belong to engine parts subject to the greatest load. Their quality is largely decisive for engine reliability and durability.

Therefore, it is so important that the valves comply with such demanding requirements as:

Long-term maintenance of tightness;
Resistance to high temperature and mechanical load strength;
Resistance to corrosion and erosion;
High degree of thermal conductivity coefficient;
Low degree of abrasion;
High hardness value of valve faces and stems at high operating temperatures;
Stability of material structure at high temperatures;

Hardening of the stem end through induction hardening stelliting.
Stem hardening by means of pressing or impulse plasma nitriding.
Resistance to high temperature and mechanical load strength.
